2nd Grade Egg Drop Experiment

Funded by the Ambassador's Fund for Catholic Education

2nd grade had a blast experimenting in their STREAM class last week! Mrs. Huot, our STREAM teacher, read "Shoot for the Moon, Snoopy!" to our class, and then students were tasked with recreating Snoopy's moon landing with their very own egg drop experiment!

Students created their "landing baskets" and "parachutes" out of paper cups, cotton balls, pipe cleaner, coffee filters, and tape - each creation was unique to them! After, our class tested their final products on the roof, where Ms. Huot dropped them and their egg passenger from a ladder to see if their experiment was successful. Way to go, 2nd grade!
