Happy Catholic Schools Week!

2018 Catholic Schools Week Kicked Off on Sunday, January 28!

Thank you for making our Catholic Schools Week Golden!

Each day we celebrated what it means to be a Catholic student while enjoying a spectacularly gold week filled with assemblies focusing on the fun of learning, games promoting team building and good sportsmanship, and presentations celebrating the hard work our students, faculty, staff, and volunteers put in every day at St. Mary Interparochial School!

Tuesday marked our first Day of Giving where, with your help, we were able to raise over $3,200! Thank you for supporting St. Mary Interparochial School.

On Tuesday, we also held our STEAM presentation! There, we explored the many sides of STEAM here at St. Mary and watched a video created by Grace Bridy, a class of 2012 alum, showcasing our programs throughout the years.

Mrs. Ricchiutti, our STEAM Jr. Explorer Program coordinator shared some fun team building activities with our students - they created a human chain and even silently organized themselves in order by birthday!

Our STEAM presentation didn't stop there: Our first ever STEAM Musical Theatre program previewed the opening number of their show, Alice in Wonderland Jr., directed by Ms. Betty, a class of 2008 alum. Alice in Wonderland Jr. will premiere in June.

Our students even caught a glimpse of our STEAM Debate program as our team showed their skills in a Public Forum Demo Debate!

Thank you, PE&T Charter High School for bringing STEAM to St. Mary Interparochial School!

On Wednesday, our students celebrated Volunteer Appreciation Day with a Prayer Family Service Project: Snack bags for Veterans! The bags were covered in beautiful drawings, and filled with treats and goodies for our Veterans.

We would also like to thank you for supporting the Walkathon Kick-Off Social held on Wednesday, January 31st.
With your help, we were able to raise over $8,500!

St. Mary Parents and Friends had a wonderful night of socializing, great food, and amazing prizes. One lucky family even walked away with an Eagles Helmet signed by a few Super Bowl Champions! Thank you to everyone who joined us on this special night and supported our 2018 Walkathon.

Special thanks to Susan and Matthew Koger, Parent '25 who coordinated this spectacular event!

Thank you also to all to all of our Classroom Captains and parents for securing fantastic prizes for the auction and raffle. It was truly was a "Golden" night for our parents and friends of St. Mary.

On Shine Your Light Day, parents and guardians were invited into their child's classroom to share a special skill or talk about their profession! Brain surgeons, magicians, and even an opera singer (just to name a few) came by and showed how all of their hard work helps them shine their light in their communities every day!

We ended our Catholic Schools Week celebrations with our annual Maroon and White Day - with a touch of Gold!

These games are a spirited tradition where students are divided into Maroon and White teams. All students were encouraged to wear a touch of gold today to celebrate our Golden Jubilee Year!

Thank you for spending Catholic Schools Week with us!
