CSFP Teacher of the Year

Mrs. Cammisa named CSFP Teacher of the Year!

While you were away this summer, our teachers were still working hard and achieving great things! Each year, Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) recognizes teachers who make impacts on the children who receive their scholarship support by providing creative classroom practices, exceptional instructional support, and extra-curricular activities to all the students they teach. This year, we are proud to announce that our very own Mrs. Cammisa was recognized a CSFP Teacher of the Year!

"As a librarian, I am honored to have received this award because it recognizes the valuable role of the library in supporting our students and their families. I am blessed to work in a community that shares a vision of active learning in a multi-media environment while supporting a strong print library collection. Of course, my greatest inspiration is the kids! Working with them in the library and during our after school program is a great privilege. I learn from them every day!"

Mrs. Millie Cammisa works with students each day not only as the school librarian but as their science fair coach, STEAM instructor, homework helper, and academic cheerleader! "We are a better school because of the efforts of our industrious and dedicated Mrs. Millie Cammisa." - Mrs. Jeanne Meredith.
