Our amazing 2nd and 7th grade students began their weeklong zebrafish lab with BioEyes yesterday!
In 2nd grade, they are mating their zebrafish and identifying the characteristics of the male and female fish.
Today, we will be collecting the embryos to track them through their embryonic process until they hatch!
In 7th grade, students began learning about genetic traits through the lab.
They are observing which traits could be dominant or recessive, and are making predictions about the characteristics of their offspring during the mating period.
We cannot wait to see the embryos today!
