The first month back to school in 2016 was very busy for our students, with art projects and field trips to the Philadelphia Opera and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Below are a few select highlights. To see more, visit our photo album on Facebook here.
Before the first day of school, some Secret Artist Ninjas, made and hung the banner shown below to welcome everyone! Who are these talented mystery artists????
Grades 3-6 went to see the PMA's Creative Africa exhibit. To give them a preview, wax print fabrics were hung in the stairwell.
Grades 3-8 helped to make bridges out of playing cards. Some of the bridges were donated to the Free Library of Philadelphia for their mini-golf event.
7th and 8th Grades attended the opera Turandot as performed by the Philadelphia Opera. They created Chinese Drums with riddles on the reverse side.
