St. Mary Inteparochial School offers several clubs to our students, including:
National Junior Honor Society
The St. Mary School National Junior Honor Society consists of sixth, seventh, and eighth graders who have excelled in academics, leadership and service in our school community. During Catholic Schools’ Week, new members are inducted during a special pinning ceremony. The National Junior Honor Society meets two Fridays a month and during lunchtime once a week to plan for upcoming events. Together with Ms. Leone and Mrs. Crossan-Sanicky, upper school teachers and moderators, these students coordinate, plan and carry out service projects to improve our community at large.
What is STEAM?
STEAM is fun, STEAM is challenging, STEAM is an exciting new approach to learning and applying science, technology, engineering, art and math. STEAM is about working together to solve real world problems.
Students in grades 5-8 are invited to attend this afterschool program incorporating fitness such as running, yoga and strength training, STEAM related activities such as robotics, and academic support.
Junior Explorers Club
The Junior Explorers Club is an after-school enrichment program for students in Grades K-4. This mini-Steam program provides an opportunity for exploration in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math outside the regular school day. Please see the PDF download below for more information about the 2017 Junior Explorers Club, starting November 6th!
Choir members in grades 4-8 meet one day every other week after school to learn liturgical and popular music. The choir director teaches melody, descant, base line singing and round of spirituals and traditional music.
